Drida Foundation ("Drida", "we", "us") is a non-profit organisation committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

What we collect

When you register for a course, free batch, trip, or any Drida programme, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number (used for OTP login and WhatsApp communication)
• Your email address (if provided)
• Course enrolment details (which courses you joined, dates)

We do not collect payment card details — all payments are processed securely by Razorpay, which has its own privacy policy.

How we use your information

• To register you for courses and send confirmation messages
• To send batch schedules, updates, and community announcements via WhatsApp
• To maintain a record of your course history (accessible via My Courses)
• To contact you about upcoming programmes that may interest you

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Firebase & Google

Our login system uses Firebase Authentication (by Google) to verify your phone number via OTP. Google processes your phone number as part of this service. Please refer to Firebase's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles authentication data.

Cookies & local storage

This website uses browser localStorage only to remember your light/dark theme preference. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as you are an active Drida community member. If you wish to have your data deleted, email us at drida4u@gmail.com and we will remove it within 7 working days.

Your rights

• Access: You can ask us what data we hold about you
• Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: You can ask us to delete your data at any time
• Opt-out: You can unsubscribe from WhatsApp messages by letting us know

By using the Drida website (drida4u.github.io) or participating in any Drida programme, you agree to the following terms.

Who we are

Drida Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered in India. Our programmes — meditation, yoga, fitness, and education — are offered in a spirit of community and service.

Use of this website

• This website is for personal, non-commercial use only
• You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without permission
• You must not use this site to harass, mislead, or harm others
• Course materials shared with enrolled participants are for personal use only and must not be shared or resold

Participation in programmes

• Drida programmes are wellness-focused and not a substitute for medical advice
• Participants join voluntarily and are responsible for their own health decisions
• Drida instructors are experienced practitioners but are not licensed medical professionals
• Please consult a doctor before starting any new physical programme if you have health conditions

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, videos, and course materials — belongs to Drida Foundation unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or use our content commercially without written permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

3. Refund Policy

Drida Foundation is a non-profit organisation. We keep our course fees minimal to cover operational costs. Please read our refund policy before enrolling in a paid programme.

Free programmes

Our free meditation batches (Drida Free Batch) have no fee and therefore no refund applies.

Paid courses

• Cancellation before the course starts: Full refund within 7 working days
• Cancellation within the first 2 sessions: 50% refund
• Cancellation after 2 sessions: No refund, but you may transfer your enrolment to the next available batch
• Course cancelled by Drida: Full refund within 7 working days, or option to transfer to next batch

Trips & events

• Cancellation 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus any non-refundable booking costs
• Cancellation 15–29 days before: 50% refund
• Cancellation less than 15 days before: No refund (costs already committed)
• Trip cancelled by Drida: Full refund within 14 working days

Products

For physical products (Kasar Naturals, crystal bracelets, EK.SEL4U), please refer to the respective seller's return and refund policy. Drida facilitates these purchases but is not the seller.

How to request a refund

Email drida4u@gmail.com or WhatsApp Smitha Ma'am at +91 80754 71581 with your name, course/trip name, and payment reference. We will process your request within 7 working days.
