A Practice Rooted in Awareness
Drida's meditation is not about clearing the mind — it's about gently meeting it. Smitha Haridas teaches a blend of ancient practices adapted for everyday life, including:
- Chakra Meditation — energy centre awareness and activation
- Breathwork (Pranayama) — calming the nervous system through conscious breath
- Guided Visualisation — building inner clarity and positive self-image
- Ho'oponopono — Hawaiian practice of forgiveness and healing
- Affirmations — "I am an awesome creation of God" and more

Meditation FAQ
Do I need any meditation experience to join?
None at all. Every batch starts from the very beginning. Our mentor explains each practice step by step — the only thing you need is a quiet corner and a willingness to begin.
Is the meditation programme really free?
Yes — completely free. Drida is a non-profit. The meditation batches have always been free and always will be. There is no catch.
How long is each session and when does it happen?
Each live session is about 30–40 minutes. Sessions run morning and evening to suit different schedules. Exact timings are shared when you enrol in the current batch.
What is Chakra Meditation?
Chakra meditation is a practice of bringing awareness to the seven energy centres in the body — from the root to the crown. Smitha guides you through each chakra with visualisation and breath, helping to release blockages and build inner energy.
What is Ho'oponopono?
Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian healing practice based on four simple phrases: "I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you." Smitha weaves this into the programme as a powerful tool for letting go of resentment and opening the heart.
Can I join from outside India?
Absolutely. Drida members join from across the world — the programme runs via WhatsApp and YouTube Live, so location is no barrier. Women from the UAE, UK, USA and beyond are part of our community.
